We Can Sell iPads
The iPad is an unequivocal hit in the consumer marketplace. Equally impressive is the successes this device is finding in the corporate world as a supplement or replacement to the traditional desktop/laptop. A recent survey by seven.co.uk revealed statistics that show the impact the iPad has had on the overall computer landscape.
- Use of desktop computers is down for 35% iPad owners since they bought the device
- Use of laptops is also down since they bought an iPad at 39%
- 87% of owners are using it every day of the week
- 26% for half an hour to an hour per day
- 32% for 1-2 hours per day
- 24% for more than 2 hours a day.
Today users who require the 3G iPad can only purchase a data plan from AT&T or Verizon. The successful launch of the iPhone on Sprint shows there is strong demand for Apple products operating on the Sprint network.
Bluefish has created a partnership with the Apple re-seller network that allows us to source these devices and sell them through our portals and help desk. Our solution allows the ordering of the iPad for IL or CL accounts in conjunction with an Overdrive Pro. The total bundle includes an iPad2 (16, 32 or 64GB), Overdrive Pro and convenient iPad/Overdrive case to keep the equipment paired. The total retail price of this bundle is significantly cheaper than if they were purchased independently.

This new solution allows Sprint to answer customer questions about ordering the iPad. Rather than having to turn down these opportunities it provides a bridge until the time hopefully Sprint will be able to sell their own 3G iPad. In addition it provides a way for the Sprint account team to highlight new offerings from Sprint and receive activation credit for driving customers to this solution.

I need pricing for iPad devices.
Thanks Aaron for your inquiry. Pricing is dependent on a couple items. If they are looking for iPad/Overdrive only, then possibly we leverage our BSP model to provide a discount on the iPad/Overdrive combo based on Bluefish receiving a commission for the Overdrive activation. The other model is a straight pass through, where we extend our iPad discount directly to your customer through the Sprint Mobility Management Program and bill our monthly fee on the Sprint invoice. With Bluefish mgmt we can provide the greatest value to your customer through our custom fulfillment solutions where we can set up each device with Apple ID and add/remove any applications, install OtterBox, and provide full helpdesk support to these end-users offloading this from your customer’s internal IT resources.
