REPORT: Wireless Reporting Trends & Frequency
One of the most overlooked and time-consuming components of wireless management is analyzing usage, billing, and transaction data in order to save your company time and money. To top things off, it’s common that such data is accessed in multiple ways and spread across numerous reports.
This month, Bluefish’s very own Scott Kraege met with the Center for Telecom Environment Standards to discuss: what wireless information is most critical, how it is gathered, who needs it, and how often they need to receive it.
In this Reporting Trends & Frequency Report (PDF), a few things are clear:
- Executives are only interested in how much the business is saving. This could mean that wireless is still only viewed as a necessary evil and not a productivity powerhouse.
- Finance departments are deeply ingrained in all the financial impact wireless has on a company. Interesting… I wonder what finance departments were doing before wireless became such a big part of their day.
- The majority of companies surveyed are manually creating reports regardless if they’re using a Wireless Mobility Management (WMM) software or not. Every business is different and therefore requires different metrics for decision making. WMM Suppliers not willing to bend and flex for their customers offer little value in this arena.
Bluefish mgmt streamlines all data analysis with customizable and automated reports for all of it’s customers. If you’re interested in knowing more please contact mgmt@bluefishwireless.net.
